Nice. REAL nice!

Only thing, in the 2nd vid at 3:40 I was hoping to see a SD get really surprised!

I would also like to add that this thread is the proper way to show off a build. So very different from some other recent threads where people talked alot and showed little.

only one critique. the upper limits of survivability of black ABS pipe is roughly 180*. The heat generated from the turbo boost air will easily surpass the limits of the pipe. You might want to re-engineer that part.

Very cool set up!;Sweet

I agree that your boost is a bit dangerous to the life of your engine. A external gate wouldn't be a bad idea.

abs pipe is only temp until my lengths of aluminum tube arrive. was the easiest way to find out which angles i would need and the exact lengths. and i am currently looking for an external gate to put in, that is the last thing i want to do is kill my engine. so far excluding everything i have roughly 1600.00 in to the set up including the pipe i ordered for the charge system.

nice job. Its cool that turbo works that good, I never would have guessed it would spool that fast or make that much boost on and idi.

That's a nice looking install job. But, questions about the air filter. How are you going to shield it so it won't plug up with all the road dust real quick? By shielding it with the opening towards the rear, it will create a vacuum around the filter. If you install an RDT the oil mist will surely be sucked into/on the filter it would seem to me, unless it's a long ways away. On Guzzles pages here is an RDT at the back of the truck, also known as a CCV, crank case vent, it's on a PSD but the same thing.

That sounds great! Even noting that your pump is maxed out, it cleans up extremely fast with minimal smoke out of the gate. I wonder how this setup would run with one of hypermaxs' aneroids? Either way it sure is nice seeing someone try the powerstroke turbo, it seems like this may be the next best trick. Beyond that, the undermount turbo frees up room and makes service much easier.

A+ man!

I pretty much quit the whole mud thing since it makes it a PITA to work on coated with that stuff. But the dust...I hit a ton of sand/dirt roads and it's just not practical...that air filter would get clogged/KOed so fast.

i heard that. thats why i sold my mud truck. when something would break i would be pissed and hated being under it. everytime i would move a wrench or anything a big clunk of dirt would come falling down.
