Hmmm... this thread went off in a direction I couldn't have anticipated. I thought all IDI people were good natured enough to understand its purpose. Since that's not the case, I'll lay it out for you.
First off, the guy is worthy of your respect and admiration. He has been through a lot and has made something of himself coming from a great disadvantage. He does have a really cool truck. So how are we to acknowledge him without pics or speaking his name? With this thread of course. He IS reading it. I have been PM'ed by him about it. If he wanted you to know his name, he would step forward.
The second purpose was not so much to mess with your minds, but to make you realize there are indeed things that happen at the rally that stay at the rally. Fun things. Interesting things. Things not really worth talking about here, but that were definitely worth living.
Is a na na na na kind of thing? Maybe. Some of you could have came, but elected not to. Some of you wanted to, but just couldn't. Every good story and picture than comes out of the rally is indeed a "the have's and the have not's" for those who came versus those who didn't. If you come to the rally next year, this guy is going to make an effort to attend. You would get to meet him. So if the intrique is killing you, make plans to attend. If you can go on living knowing that there are secrets you can't know, then you're fine. If it bugs you that I've used this as a way to tweak your intentions for next year, then I'm sorry. But like they say in the publicity business, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
