@03wr250f what's in your pics is what I'm looking for. Nice clean cutoff, nice bright light. Are those the aussie bezels? I checked Baja retrofit's and didn't see that model, just the one that looks like our stock units with new guts.

Correct these are Aussies headlight bezels I have, with a retrofit in a 5x7 housing.
It is far easier to retrofit stock type headlights than 5x7s like the Aussies or bullnose use
Yes it does make the truck look like it has eyes but function over form far outweighs that, and ya get used to it. Especially since you can now see at night

Top pic is high beams with the light bar, and the trees are about 1/2 mile away
The round fog lights and the amber fog lights are on a different switch and are not on in the pic
I think I'll save up and get the Baja ones. While the aussie ones look cool, I have this thing against wanting to install hard to get parts. If they break, I don't want to be out of a vehicle over something frivolous.

At the risk of changing the subject, I see BajaHID has LED tail light assemblies, recommends a "digital flasher," but they don't sell one? Has anyone come up with a digital flasher that works?
Ford makes one, it just goes in place of your blinker relay. All it does is switch it from a heated filament mechanical relay to a digital one. Technically, any 3 pin LED compliant turn signal flasher should work.
I was eyeballing those too. The stop lights on my truck are fairly dim.

I got a three pin flasher from Amazon, and it's totally useless. Doesn't flash at all. Sent it back, got another, same story.

Here's the way that I would look at this situation. You can't see how the front of the truck looks while driving so that's what really matters.

Searching around threads looking for headlight upgrade ideas I found this post.Snooping around the internets this morning, apparently LMC sells stuff.... For OBS body style. Projector headlights would be nice, but not offered for bricks.

I wish I had a photo of the clean cutoff that my old tdi had with the upgraded HID housings. Would help show what I'm trying to find, some of you know what I'm referring to though.
Wondering if you ever found a nice and not too expensive upgrade?
I have a F '89 and a E '90.
Am seriously spoiled on the HO LED projector lamps on my Ram, hoping to blind rude drivers that refuse to dim with the Ford's..

The flasher circuit isn't completed until the other side of the filament is grounded.
Apologies if that was already addressed.
The Swamp is hit and miss, they ignore your search terms and feed sponsored items first.
I won't even use their internal search anymore, is best to use a browser search to get the most relevant results.
I don't drive often enough at night to justify switching my headlights out yet, but I'll probably go with the Aussie kit with either LEDs or projected HID's

A friend of mine has Holley Retrobright 5x7 lights in his Jeep, I thought they were fantastic but I don’t have any vehicles that use sealed beam lights.
So in short, @Nero, thank you for alerting me that I should spend almost $1000 on headlights. Because I just did.

That's why I upgraded the lights in my Blue Truck.
Do what I did to my 85 (granted without the Aussies). Use the Aussie kit, then buy the same lights that I did from LMC Truck or Bronco Graveyard. They use H4 bulbs. Finally buy some H4 LED bulbs from Auxbeam. You won't be disappointed. The Bronco Graveyard part number for these lights is 34805 although they are out of stock right now.
The Aussies use sealed beams.
These are the headlights in my 1985.
