Something on the list was troubleshoot why the headlights weren't working. The foot high beam switch, if it's not working it will kill your headlights and make the circuit open.
So Gator is the next ARP, eh? It's very good to have an alternative. I don't know if I'll ever rebuild one of these beasts but it's good to know there's something else out there during the whole supply chain meltdown.
I'm certainly not complaining! In October, when I went down to southern Oklahoma, the cheapest I saw was $4.38 so I made sur to turn around and fill up there. I needed some anyway so it made it that much better. That was down where I went to, right outside a big lake area where things usually cost more. The highest that I saw that trip was around $5.35 and that was north of OKC.GOOD LORD YOUR FUEL PRICES ARE NUTS!!!!
I really want to stud my 6.9, it's part of my "doing it right" the first time plan.I don't know. I didn't even know the name until I opened up the box. His web site says that they're American made and test to 30,000psi higher than APR studs do. I doubt that I'd even test the strength limits of the ARPs so I probably won't get close to the limits of these either. It's nice to know that there's a cheaper option that ARP though.
Nothing wrong with that. As far as I know, the only option is ARP, but I haven't checked into that lately. The 6.9 set that I have are ARP. I will use them when/if diesel prices come back down far enough that I put a 6.9/turbo in my Red Truck. I put that on hold last spring when the fuel prices kept going up. Edit to add: Wes doesn't list any 6.9 studs on his site. Justin may, but I haven't looked.I really want to stud my 6.9, it's part of my "doing it right" the first time plan.
You should! Sell a few extra mowers! Tow something! Scrap something! You can do it!I really want to stud my 6.9, it's part of my "doing it right" the first time plan.
That's not too bad considering how fast 7.3 studs went up in price.I just looked and ARP is only $349 for a 6.9.
That's the plan. I need the oil burners member that's going to get my turbo to tighten up......ahem.....ahem..... @quickster . He's traveling right now, so it's fine. You should! Sell a few extra mowers! Tow something! Scrap something! You can do it!

There's cheaper, I dare not mention it though. The last time I pointed out a deal on here, well...... rockauto should send me a royalty. That's not too bad considering how fast 7.3 studs went up in price.
The only thing that I saw listed on there was head bolts and they're out of stock. There's cheaper, I dare not mention it though. The last time I pointed out a deal on here, well...... rockauto should send me a royalty.
I ain't saying NOTHING, until I have MINE ordered! I learned my lesson. The only thing that I saw listed on there was head bolts and they're out of stock.
