I have several of those carbs around that he used. I watched the 1st video when he showed how he installed it and got it running..

But Mine are on the 14-16 Horse Single Cylinder Kohlers they are supposed to be on....

It looked like a fairly common Carter or Walbro that was used for decades on small engines... but the are just that small engines.

The "bigger" carb they put on a 16 horse Kohler, is for 341 cc's (which is why it's a K341, thats how Kohler specified the model number, by cc displacement... I.E. a 7 horse was a K161... a 14 horse was a K321...) not 302 Cubic Inches.... so I agree... it may run.... but the timing is gonna have to be adjusted... and I bet it still runs hot. I know on a Kohler, you can run them lean enough, the muffler will glow red......

The video I watched got too technical and it was obvious that it was totally impractical. There's a kid I work with that goes on and on about wanting to run his truck on hydrogen, which sounds fine but it's all theoretical. Now if he walked me over to his truck and said, "check this out" I'd be impressed. Especially after seeing his truck for several weeks and knowing it runs on hydrogen....but it doesn't, so I'm not impressed with theoretical ideas or a useless hobby car that just gets driven to make YouTube videos. But WMO!, that's real, in my truck, powering it...... practical! And what's funny, the kid that's into theoretical hydrogen just stares at me when I talk about what I ACTUALLY do like "why would you do that?" Oh well.....

7.3 IDI TURBO Engine block non running.

For sale near me. Not sure if anyone is interested. I thinking about it, looks like it was left in the rain though.

I can't see any of those facebook links that keep getting posted.

I don't have anything to do with facebook. You can't see them unless you log in.

That's why I try to post screenshots when I share Facebook stuff. That way you can still see what it was even after they delete it.

Well the reason it's getting one instead of another idi is cause I've got one. Swap will be cheaper than rebuild the 7.3. that only leaves me with 3 idi trucks lol
There's no way the swap is cheaper. I looked up a transmission adapter plate and those things are expensive! Unless you are using a Dodge tranny, but make sure it's not a "torque flight" that's the weak link of Mopar for sure.

Psh, I had a Weber 32/36 on my samurai 1.3 liter, when the secondaries opened, it was a whole new engine
Hey, those samurai engines are just about as golden as the 12v Cummins. They really have a cult following. I had a guy going to give me a Tracker that needed an engine, so I looked for one and not only do they not exist they're high dollar when you find one and putting the 1.3 in them is a popular deal if I remember correctly.

Trackers need a VW TDI swap!

Haha well I ended up putting a tracker 1.6 16v fuel injection in it. Not as much power as that monster carb, but better fuel eco and a more reliable engine. Almost did a tdi swap, but too lazy/lacking experience with fabbing motor mounts and such.
