Just thought I would show off my cool little project I decide to make at work. Billet aluminum injector return line caps, I have 4 made and I have a program ready to go to make the 90 degree caps but have not had time to make any of them yet. I think I have about 5-7 hours into this project so far with programming time and running parts. The run time on 1 cap is about 20 minutes and it is all done in one setup. The hardest part (well not even that hard just time consuming) is DE burring them so I will not tear up the o-ring when I put them on. They snap on to a injector great so they should not leak I know these are nice and round.

I will post up more pictures when I get the 90 degree caps done but that will be a week or better.

Let me know what you think or if you see something that should be changed.

Those are sweet.

Looks like this all happened about the time I split up with my ex and was off the boards for a number of years.

What are the chances they are still available?

And @IDIoit , what rockers are those? Very nice indeed.

I don’t believe he’s on the forum anymore, but I’ve talked to the builder on Facebook a few times, I don’t believe he’s making them anymore unfortunately.

Any chance he'd sell someone (you) a copy of his CAD files and Machine code for good measure? Then they could be ordered to stock from a local machine shop with similar equipment.

anyone with a machine that can make this, would beable to program it no problem o_O

if you want something now R&D sells fuel return rails that are pretty beachin!
had mine on for a few years, and zero leaks.
pain to install, but worth it

I was thinking about this the other day, I few factors come into play with making these caps;

which material is better for these caps Aluminum or Brass?

what do you want more aluminum or brass?

What is better...7.3 style caps with side barbs, or 6.9 style cap with centered barbs?

What if the barbs were the bigger size(5/16”) on the 6.9 style cap?

how would you want to run the lines;

Stock configuration with a dead head cap on injector 7 like the 6.9 and 7.3T run?

Modified configuration with no dead head? Or no line off the filter head?

I have seen a few different ways guys like to run them on their engine. Which is the best?

does anyone line the thin rubber with cloth braided cover hose that come with the return line kits on the market now?
