Hi all,
I have a bit of a weird situation. I have a 93 7.3idi that had the long block replaced before I got it. The head bolts are the 1/2" type so I assumed it was also a 7.3 block however I have the twist on oil filler cap like the 6.9's had, not the threaded ones like most 7.3's I have seen. Does anyone have a 7.3idi with the twist on cap, like a valve cover oil fill cap? It is also possible my engine was totally cobbled together with parts from who knows what, I have found some amazing work from the past. Also if anyone knows where i can get a hold of a new twist on cap that would be awesome! I am striking out locally.

Thanks,
J

Probably just used it off of a 6.9. I have put the 6.9 style on 7.3s, for people that wanted the straight up filler to make adding oil easier....

Update, I did get ahold of the cap via AutoZone. $5.95 Part Number 8066
