When I started my truck to let it warm up, it turned on the heater. I kicked the blower up to high and was very surprised. Since I replaced the A/C evaporator that had a bunch of crap covering it, I can actually feel the air coming out of the vents at a standstill. Going down the road, the outside air would push through, carrying the hot air with it. Now there's real decent air flow. Then, as I started going down the street, I was watching all of the leaves sitting on top of the screen that I put under the cowl cover. They started to blow off and all I could think was "this is great! None of them went down inside!".

I still swear by the interstate economy batteries. At least here they are $75 out the door (no core charge price, core is $20 each if I remember). I just bought my 10th one. Not because of failures, different sets in different vehicles. I’ve put 3 sets in the Excursion (owned it 12+ years), and one in several other vehicles. The ones I bought last weekend went in mommas Infiniti.

But, you have to goto an interstate all battery center and ask for them. I have one between work and home, so not a big deal for me.....

I have been using Car Quest batteries, can't remember who makes them. Not cheap , $130 think, they have been lasting a good long time in my trucks. Up north here where it gets really cold I want something that is going to crank things over. Got one set think is 8yrs or more now.

Slapped the cheapo $108 after tax pair of batteries in Diego, cranked a couple times and fired right off, purring like a kitten. Let it run a little bit while I bolted the rear seat back in.. I wondered what that rattle was!

I brought it home!!!

It's driving like the brakes are applied. (Brakes were kinda hot when I got home, too. So maybe they are.)

1600 rpms at 65 mph. Too cool! The old truck is 3400rpms at 55 mph...

Brake light comes on. At about 45mph or so, and then stays on for the entire time the truck is running. Turn it off. Start back up, brake light stays off until 45 mph again...

Overdrive light was flashing. But only after I put it into 4wd and backed up my driveway.

Am I right in thinking that when the brake light is on, on the dash, the TC will not lock up?

Wow, your stronger than you thought!

Well to be fair, I did have a little bit of an extension on it. Really didn't think it was enough to do THAT so EASILY.

The only harbor freight tool I've broken was a 1/2" extension doing that. Still need to warranty that.

This was a tractor supply special so I'm not sure if it is even as good as harbor freight lol.

Finally got them with my 3/4 drive harbor freight impact. Some of them I had to let the compressor fill a couple times before it broke loose, took forever but it's done!

Not mine, but I got the "pleasure" of changing a few hydraulic lines on a wrecker today. Really not a bad job in a heated shop with all the tools I need.

I still hate rust falling in my face....

Time to cover your head with a plastic bag. LOL (Just don't forget the plastic straws in your nostrils. :rotflmao

That is a surprisingly small amount of threads needed for those fittings.
