with this tool....doing rear brakes on a 10.25 can actually be "easy"

When I can use my knuckles in 10 years, I'll thank you tow cat. I've never been more frustrated at a spring in my life... nearly convinced me to swap to disks.

Well there are other options I linked, the $10 Amazon one or the $30 Snap-on one.

You might have to pull the spindle but it’s not that hard, assuming you have the special ratcheting spindle nut socket. I bought one to replace a leaking inner seal that was allowing differential oil into the drum. (An expensive as hell seal!)

Or for somebody good at metal working and welding, they could make one.

You are welcome CaptTom. I plan on ordering one next payday just to have it ready for when I re-do my brakes next spring. Too frigging cold here in Minnesota right now and my brakes can wait until then.

Looks like that would be pretty easy to make. I will see if I can mock one up and then take some pics. If you don't hear from me for a while remind me as I'm easily distracted :)
