Hey guys..........I bought the new radiator and want to put it back on and filler up BUT I am unsure what kind of antifreeze is the best.
From what i've heard and researched it seems that a green low-silicate antifreeze is best but a lot of the containers dont seem to say if it is low silicate! I know that i should also add the SCA to the system for cavitation protection.
Does ford/motorcraft have an antifreeze that is low silicate heavy duty? There are no places around here that have the fleetcharge type coolant with SCA pre added.
Alright, I am hoping you guys can point me in the definite right direction. Thanks!

Thanks Mel,
Reason i was wondering is so i would know how much SCA (FW-15) to add to the coolant.
The machienery dealer told me that 6.4 oz to a gallon of coolant is recommended.
At 8 gallons capacity if figures out to 3.2, 16 oz bottles of FW-15.
I didnt drain the block but i suspect the coolant that was left needed retreated as well.
