Replacing my voltage reg on my '87 6.9 idi f350 and I can't find it anywhere! Looked all over my wheel wells, no where, traced all my wires no where! Is it possible it's been bypassed?
Where is my voltage regulator????

Post a picture of your alternator, it could be someone installed a 3g upgrade already

Ok, I must have it, there are two wiring harnesses on the alt if that helps, I looked all over the passenger fender and nothing, I have the replacement, I'll get my 20 bucks back lol, thanks.

I bought a parts truck and it had a 2G alt on it, looked factory, not sure if someone swapped it out or not but if your alt looks like the one below then the regulator is on the back of it.
