Time for the same old question that everyone else always asks... What she worth?
I'm having to make some big financial choices at a real bad time, and my old man has offered to sell his truck to make sure we keep a roof over our heads. But enough of my problems...

1990 F350 CCLB 4X4
Story behind this old bird is it started its life off as a 460 gasser, and I converted it to diesel myself. Tanks, fuel lines, ect. All lights and gauges work, somwtimes the oil pressure gauge wigs out, so we installed a pillar gauge cluster with water temp, oil pressure and battery voltage. Has a zf5-42 in er and 3:55 geared axles, limited slip rear.

First and foremost: hang in there, keep your head up and keep looking for solutions. Lots of things possible for able bodied/knowledgeable folks and I think you have those two things covered.

Keep in mind the rig you are considering selling is one of the most sought after bricknose trucks. Don't give it away: I believe it should bring $6-8K. One thing I would consider is seeing if you can put a set of aluminum wheels/tires on it, even if they are loaners that you can borrow just for pics. It will invite a whole new sets of customers, and let’s face it: FB Marketplace gets an awful lot of traffic for selling stuff.

In’93 when we bout & moved in our home owners (4bedroom) house and 5 ac , was bout $400 / yr….. now bout $3 grand.
Taxes was $1300……now near $5K
And I still not got (been stalling) 40x64 shop listed on ins or county tax department.
I better though cause this area got listed recently as HI FIRE AREA!!!!

Prices are going up because the counterfeiters in DC keep printing more funny money. I agree with the consensus here, $6k-$8k would be very reasonable for a solid runner that's not a project. That body looks better than most of my rigs.

Another vote for 6-8k here. I have been eyeballing a couple of trucks similar to this but in worse shape near me and they are both at $4,500.

Spoke to my old man about it again today. He doesnt want to sell it, but is willing to if we have to move, I guess it all comes down to how things play out.

The KBB for a 1992 is about 3-4k which is total BS. I'd say post it for $9999.99 and see who bits. Don't be upset when people low ball it's all part of the game. A manual diesel truck with a d60 front is at the top of the list as far as sought after. I'd spend the money on a detail, spiff her up real nice, post all the best pictures you can, and let the chips fall where they may. That's a badass truck and don't let those buttholes on Marketplace tell you any different!

Personally I think it might be kinda hard to do it but I think that about $10,500 or more might not be unrealistic in this day & age!
And like @WrenchWhore said that if you're able & can/got time to do it to spiff it up some then go for it.
Thing is that in this day & age lot of folks are getting tired of newer prices, tired of everything computerized, can't work on or have no idea how to work on newer rigs, tired of cost of mechanic shops, etc, etc.
I/we inherited when one of our sons died 4 yr ago, a 2014 Chevy Silverado HD 2500 truck that I drive a lot. Got about 218 K on speedo. I really like this truck, yet I'm scared to death of it! This thing has things on it that I flat never heard of!
If/when something breaks down on it I flat have no idea how to work on it & would have to put in the shop somewhere, then try to figure out how to pay for it!

This is why I plan on keeping my '90 CCLB F350, fixing it up, etc, etc, because I can do most of the work on it myself somehow....(& with help from OB guys)
I've run into many, many folks round here that are keeping, hunting for & going back to some of the older more simpler rigs that can be self worked on or simpler & cheaper to work on in a mechanic shop!
Occasionally I see around the country things that are listed that I think are extremely high, yet if in good shape may be very well worth it in this day & age.
Sorta my take.......
