Upgrade

I bought my 04 new and have not really done much to it.
Stats...
04 Cummins HO
6 speed manual
57k on the clicker
4" exhaust all the way turbo back
green air filter.

I think I am going to do some mild upgrades. I am asking opinions on the best way to mod my cummins and keep it reliable. I tow my boat on the weekends and ocasionally take it on trips.
I would like to spend $1,000 or so.

then get ya a FASS or Airdog fuel pump and a Bullydog downloader

Banks is garbage; don't waste your money. If you're going to spend your money on upgrades, buy things that will work. Like Whitmore said, gauges first then go from there. Bullydog is OK but there are others that can do as well or better. My experience is that Bullydog is simply a repackaged Edge unit but that may have changed.
