short hops are fine. a multi state run is a whole other situation. I'd rather have 10k/lb trailer hooked to my truck's butt so there was more room to balance the load. the u-haul only gives you one option only and no wiggle room.

I was going to be coming down twisty mountain roads with a tow vehicle that was about the same weight as the truck. I found a runner instead.
