If the pump was turned up high and it had a cracked manifold not making any boost then it could have very well been making some high egts think about it there isnt alot of air getting shoved threw, but it cant be as high as the gauge said because it would have melted before you made it home
truck does not smoke one bit. so dont think the pump was played with. also it is a factory turbo motor, and by the looks of it, the g codes are still in it.

Doesnt mean it cant be getting hot, because a stock motor can hit 1200 fairly easy, with the low boost they are set at stock, and only making 3psi is gonna be even worse because not much air is moving threw the engine, like i said im sure the gauge is way off, but im sure your egts were still too high with that cracked manifold
yea, i know the gauge is off, gona throw some isspros on it. gona replace the manifold this week.

oh and i can second that it doesn't blow any smoke at all when i seen him at kempton when he stoped at the truck pulls i romped it and blew smoke and i think diesel crawler romped it good but no smoke
