That's true. But I also hate sitting on my cloth seats and sending dust everywhere. Its a nasty cycle lol.

also i got the headrest kind in mine i driled the floor and bolted didnt reinforce and now got to soon but the good news is im cutting out most of the floor too i think and just rebuilding it
but i had those in a bronco and they sucked no support think 70s buckets you sink into them they hurt youre back unless you always sit perfectly in them and they engolf you in them but they look cool

The super duty seats, atleast the newer ones need the rear brackets modded to lay flat. Then you can drill a new hole in the floor pan for the rear brackets, and i bolt a piece of steel through underneath to reinforce them. Thats what i did on my old 89.
the crew rear seats are a little more difficult. Also had to transfer the seat belt buckle.

FYI the KR leather is open pore and needs to be conditioned periodically. i love how soft it is but it is probably more delicate and more maintenance than i want to deal with and i'd end up ruining it. the Lariat leather is sealed from the factory and even though it's not super supple like the KR it's still not bad.
