My time with IDIs came to an abrupt end. My truck burned to the ground more or less in mid April. I really can’t justify replacing it with current prices and time investment. I have some parts to sell. An NOS copper brass radiator. A jump seat set and a 93 Turbo motor I was working on building out. I am not interested in shipping I am in Manchaca Texas. The radiator cost me $500, looking to get that out of it, it’s crated, plugs are still in it. The jump seat set includes the seats and the plastic side panels and seat belts, I had converted to a bench for my kids. $100. The engine is pretty much complete. All you need is a rebuilt turbo and injection pump and the machine work. I’d left the bottom end assembled as I wanted it balanced and figured that was best in the hands of a shop. I want $2500 for the engine just the parts I’ve accumulated are worth that. It was a running but neglected engine pulled from a 93.5 that the previous owner was doing a Cummins conversion. The white marked head bolt hole has a broken off head bolt. My plan was to have it sleeved and done all out but funds became an issue. Basically I just hoarded parts and tackled the small stuff.

Here is the engine stuff. Notably I have an nos glow plug controller cover and intake screen. The factory turbo harmonic balancer was rebuilt I have a correct turbo flywheel, I had a zf5. I have the dregs brass injector set, the 6 bladed fan sold by a member here, flow cooler pump, an original international harvester fuel pump, oil cooler was already rebuilt. Comp springs and lifters, cdd gasket set, new valley pan, gator studs, new motor mounts and all the original parts. My plan was a modest up rated pump, modest improved turbo from cdd and keeping it mostly stock.

If you were curious here is what happens when a mouse nest catches fire and burns through your fuel line, 4 fire extinguishers and a hose couldn’t stop it. Didn’t help I was fighting a grass fire at the same time. I had it out just a couple weeks ago to pick up a load of dirt, this time I didn’t check for mice nests, figured winter was over and I’d just had it out. Between the incident terrifying the family and the high price of a replacement I’m out. I just don’t have the time anymore to start from scratch.

Really sorry to hear about this. If I was closer I would be interested in most everything. Good luck with selling everything.

It is not impossible for me to ship, I work with freight everyday at work, I have access to pallets and strapping, forklift and loading dock and can get it to work to palletize. My main reason to want to do local pick up is simply you can see what you are getting first hand, ask any questions, buyer is protected, seller is protected as I don't have to worry about shipping damage or any funny business and the reality is truck freight is going to run about $400 most likely and while I can meet someone half way, discount a bit to offset the shipping, my preference is definitely local pick up. The radiator was shipped to me UPS, it was spendy on shipping as it is crated and is overweight, but it is doable UPS. Jumpseats and the associated panels and seat belt hardware can also likely be UPS, but again, expensive as it would likely need to be 3 good size boxes, one for each seat, one for the rest of it.

Cleaned the garage this weekend and found a few more interesting odds and ends.

Search light, $100, took it off the a pillar because it leaked and the wiring sucked, includes new gasket/rebuild set and bulb. It works

Jump seat set includes seats, side trim, brackets, straps, seat belts, no bolts or screws unfortunately. One seat belt is missing the male end of the buckle and I got the truck that way and can’t explain how that happened $150.

The biggest surprise was I have 2 turbos, I forgot that I was going to just turbo the na engine before this one came up so I have everything needed for a factory turbo. I have much more pics on the engine. Heads look pretty good, no cracks in the pre chambers. This engine I was told ran, I never saw it run, it was pulled from a 93 at a junkyard in Lagrange that had a catastrophic transmission failure and the owner junked the truck my friend bought the rest of it to do a Cummins conversion there was no oil in the coolant but the cooling system looked like heck and my plan was to sleeve it. I’d like this gone so engine, all parts, nos radiator and both turbo set ups $2500. I also found I have a real nos oil pump.
