Check the service ports for leaks with soapy water. Also look for oily/dirty areas on the lines for possible leak points.

Yes that works, I also have a freon leak detector and an ultrasound detector. Not that I do not know how to do it, just had other items on the plate yesterday.

I drove it to work for the first time since the motor went down. Nice to have that project buttoned up. Now I have to complete all of those "truck" projects I have been putting off since January, as I wasn't going to haul mulch in the back of the wagon.

Mc Donalds was probably my favorite big fast food chain. There's a few others that are smaller that I also liked. Honestly, it's been over 2 1/2 years since I've had fast food and I really don't miss it.

I finally sold both e38s I was flipping and we got my older daughter a maverick. She is 5ft 5 and only 13 so she immediately outgrew the go karts and the (#&$&$+#(@)($+_-$+(#(@-$-$-$+#-) rzr 170 (I hate this thing so much!)

I'm in NJ and our entire state is paved or has ryan homes on any forests remaining, so we have to drive 2 hours each way for trails.... To Pennsylvania coal country.

On the way there I was a dope and followed GPS, so all back roads, hills, stops, hills, sharp curves. I literally used an entire front tank on the way there! The way home I did all interstate and used less than half.

The truck performed beautifully, and I didn't even mind my turbo-less needing to drop down to 3rd to get up some crazy slow hills haha.

This truck will be our only vehicle we are taking to the beach in July so I need to finish converting r12 to r134a!

Also my girls and I need to finish the "two tone" paint/mural

I love this truck and want to repeat how much I hate this 170. I spent hours on it this week so my other kid could ride and I failed completely!

I didn't take any pictures. I had a friend help me move a non running truck from behind my garage to the front so I can start working on it. Then we went over to another guy's property to look at the 1994 Explorer that he's getting from him. The key switch was broken off at the inside end. It looks like ours and was broken right at the cross looking part of it. Some ham ****** ogre had tried to break it out. I looked at it and tried with a pair of needle nose pliers. It wasn't lined up with the brass half moon piece inside so I got a small flat tip screwdriver and managed to turn the brass piece and remove the broken piece. He stuck his new key switch inside and it turned. Naturally there was no battery so I got out my jumper cables. The starter turned over 3-4 times and the engine started. That's after sitting for 3 years! We were both amazed. He talked about going to buy a new battery so I told him that he should also get a can of Sea Foam and a bottle of Heet to dump in the tank. Better safe than sorry.
My plow truck is a 94 explorer. There have been some years I have not fired it up at all. It always starts right up, these things are immortal haha. It's such a little monster

Nice truck, and wheel chocks? Safety first
I use those travel trailer scissor jacks between my trailer wheels when loading/unpoading as well. My poor e brake can only handle so much and these utvs are SO JUMPY with the throttle!

It's been a few years so it might be true anymore, but the last I knew, there was riding in the Pine Barrens area. Pennsylvania is probably better with a lot more miles of trails available. When I was I Iraq back in '04/5, one of the soldiers I worked with said that he was from Pennsylvania. He said that there was trails that went from town to town and you could ride for hundreds of miles. I assume that was in the mountains somwhere.

That area is a mess right now. if you look it up NJ is in trouble for closing a lot of the off road trails and misappropriating federal funds. There also seems to be a lot of hikers that put out stuff to pop tires. I live a few hours away so the hiker vs truck war all might just be media hype but I'm too chicken to try haha

Perfectly understandable. I can also see where people might do that. That type of a-hole likes to put string, rope, wire, etc. across OHV trails in Colorado. I haven't had any personal experience with that stuff, but I've heard about it.

Years ago, maybe 15, there were lots of packs of bikers flying around on rice burners up where I live because we have windy mountain roads. Well, some resident took issue with the situation and created and oil slick on a tight turn where guys liked to go fast and sure enough somebody wiped out pretty bad. Thankfully no fatality but charges were filed after an investigation. I've heard all kinds of stories about people hanging fishing line with hooks on it across trails and other stupid crap like that. There has to be a better way than laying traps like you're Wil E. Coyote, Super Geeenius.
