I fired the van to move to a shadier spot. Fired without issue, R12 still very nice.

So the relay would do a lot more than thump, thump...
I think that I spot a BBF C-6 and maybe a Jeep transmission languishing in the bed of your truck.

Can't quite make out the furthest-back one with the broke bolt around the starter area...but maybe a Cherokee automatic unit...?

Curious mechanics can't help themselves....

They are

Right - FE C6 that is rebuilt with low miles, has shift kit and billet R servo. Something was not speced right and it snaped the band, it was still not where it would appeal to me and swaped it for a t19. I also have another failed c6 thats riped apart and has B&M shift kit over the transgo one, I got most the parts to swap it to a E4OD first but was given a free t18 so lost intress. Not sure what I am going to do with.

Centter - BMW v8 getrag 6 speed, that has insaine gear range being that its under and over drive. The bell can be change for one off a I6, both the manual m3 or moded smg one would do. I would like to do something with but not sure when.

Left - BMW I6 gm slush box, that was rebuilt got damage from a faulty ecu. I swaped it for a 5 speed and hangs around for weight.

Don't you just love honeybees? I miss the honey, but I really miss getting stung. Honeybee stings are really therapudic.
So a lot of people in the class our club hosts talk a lot about honey and allergies and apitherapy (bee sting therapy). I never thought anything of it and brushed it.

I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands and last summer I got stung repeatedly in my wrists for various reasons and various times, but it was always my wrists for some reason haha.

Last winter it could have been the been the mild temps but I had the best winter with my hands swelling and aching by far. Maybe I should stop putting my nose in the air so much about things. So far no stings, however!

So the truck needs to be the daily driver. Tonight I'm trying to sort out vacuum and confirm if it's time to go to r134a or if my r12 is still kicking butt. But first have to get actuators to actuate

Also it may be time to do my rear leaf spring bracket that snapped. Right now I'm abusing the heck out of my air bags.

I made more work for myself.

The Ranger gear splitter attached to my T-19 developed a bearing howl over Memorial Day Weekend. The problem is, Advance Adaptors no longer produces the Ranger gear splitter. So in the event that I can't get parts, or if the thing is toast, I found a back up plan. Plan Z was delivered to my shop this morning.

Found time to get the power master starter install this evening. Not a bad job overall. May pull the starter cable sometime and put a straight end on it. For now I just made an adapter to change the angle. Looked like the one that came out was the one from the factory. Still had the OEM part number tag on it anyway. Get some time this winter I will see about rebuilding it. I would guess the brushes are gone the way it acts.

That's too clean to be real! You're Photoshoping it or using some type of "clean up my ole' truck filter" on your phone.
