Yeah I got to thinking about it after I got it all painted and installed that IH red and black would have been more appropriate. The method to my madness is that whenever I end up getting a paint job for the truck I'm planning on doing JD ag green and ag yellow so I figured it would be cool to match.

Thanks to all those who appreciate the work... it took all summer and it definitely shows at the bank. Next stop 1,000,000 miles if all goes well.

You do realize that that's like painting a Ford engine with Chevy colors, right? :shocked: ;Poke LOL

Seriously, you did a heck of a job painting that engine! Great attention to detail! I wish I could have done that good of a job when I painted the parts of my engine that I was able to (engine was in the truck, so I couldn't do the block)...

ya the pintle is to tow my m101a1 millitary trailer over winter i typically stack 18-32 inch logs up to the cabline in the bed and on the trailer and haul it through the mountains
plus it makes a good step
