are the Brick nose and OBS radiator supports the same?

they dont look far off...

bought a 96 rad support, trying to install it into a 89.

NO!!!! Slant, Brick and OBS are all different and not interchangeable, unfortunately......

You will have to find a diesel brick support for an 89, unless you are going to do the whole clip swap, and put an OBS clip on the 89.

I figure this is for the PSD swap truck, so for it, you will need an 87-91 Brick diesel core support.........

Agreed. You can do a lower barrel swap if you can cut and weld, using a gasser engine core support as your part, but it is much easier if you can find one from a diesel.

i knew someone was gonna volunteer for the position

not all is lost.
i bought the OBS one pretty cheap.
but i have a OBS truck that needs one.
it was laying on the ground, and i picked it up knowing it may not be correct.
they have a brick nose one thats in a truck.
ill pull it out later this week.
