Exactly.

I had to take the pressure washer to it when I got it home cause it had been sitting around growing stuff for at least a couple years.

It's such a nice truck, I hate to even convert it to a manual, I guess I will have to change the gauges at some point but it has a good tilt column that dosent' move around with the 3spd auto shifter and all that.

So a diesel core support from and 87-91 will bolt on, or do I have to do the whole front clip and put my fenders back on????

Just the core support. I personally would just put in an 87-91 core support or modify your current support to make the diesel radiator work. The front end on that truck looks really nice I wouldn't put the older front end on it.

Looks like you got a great deal on that.

I wonder if the original owner was a fireman, whoever he was, he gave it to his kids a couple years ago who sold it to me.

All I can say is, thanks for taking such good care of it.;Sweet

Well, I've been eyeing a couple of ZF5s, but then I saw a complete Factory 94 turbo engine core on craig's.

I drove a couple hundred miles round trip in the old brown truck with the factory size tires from the new 87 on it with the 4.11 gears (long trip). But a complete engine (wouldn't surprise me if it just has a bad injector, guy said it knocked) with, all the pumps and alternator and turbo kit for $200:dunno

The turbo looks great and spins freely, but does have side to side play and looks like it touched the intake just enough to rub off the black on one side.

I PM'd Russ/Typ4 about the turbo.

I just wish I had a way to see if the engine is good without tearing it down. It dosent' have a bellhousing so I can't try to start it.

Here's some pics of the 460 coming out.

Broke a wheel off my engine crane with the 460/C6 up in the air over the tailgate of my F250. NOT COOL, is a Harbor Freight model but I have been a little ******* it. Makes me nervous now though.

Few good ones I guess.

Couple of those are that 94 Factory turbo block that Russ is going to get.

I bought an 87 2wd 5 spd Diesel donor.

So it's looking like it'll have an 87 6.9, with a factory turbo and a factory turbo IP.

It was tan, it is a Really nice truck. Plywood, do you have a welder? There are some areas on the crossmember that need to be stitched before you cover it back up.

CAmper is coming off monday, i will get with you asap to get the core out of your way.

I bought an 87 6.9 2wd 5 spd the other day for a donor.

Although he was running straight water for quite a while so I'm not sure if I should use the radiator or not. The core support is way thicker front to back at the bottom, or should I say wider

My harbor freight gauge says most cylinders were about 320 psi but one was like 220, so after putting in spare injectors, and then a spare pump and it running the same (smoky), I finall accepted it's just gonna need to come apart.

Thanks Russ, just saw your post. My Dad has a welder, hopefully the engine pads from the F250 work on the F350. The 7.3 is in the back of my truck along with the 460/C6. I can bring an engine crane in a trailer and we could drive out from underneath the engine, but I broke a wheel off it so I'm trying to figure out where to buy one.
