Just FYi to yall coming though Cincinnati down I 75, there be paint in the road, big traffic problems, happened about 3am this morning but it still has things down to one lane I believe.

Going through Cincinnati and am waiting to miss the traffic!

What is the route your taking? Im not able to go to the rally but it makes me feel more upset knowing everyone is coming oh so close to me....

Looks like EMD Driver and Kanyon Kitty will be stopping in Columbus for the night. John Herbert is already in Dayton ( I think). Russ, and whoever is traveling with him should be in the Cincy area overnight. Looks like you are all within an hour or two of each other. Make some calls and see if you all can hook up.

Actually, I'm 1 exit south of the Columbus beltway on I71. I think its exit 100. I'm at a Hampton Inn. Hoping to be on the road between 8-9 am. I have no running lights (headlights, turnsignals, and brake lights work) so I gotta run during daylight. I suspect the damn light switch and/or connector. Guess I know what I'm doing at the campground

Mel called at about 9:15 this evening and reports that he and his clan are on schedule. He also reports a lot of rain for anyone else coming from south central PA towards Columbus OH

Hoping to leave out between 9-10 down 71from columbus to 65 should be in cincy between 11-12 hoping to get to the koa by 3-4 have the cruise set on 70 probably stop once for lunch and bathroom other wise we will be hammer down in the road hammer

Gr-rrrrrrr. More trouble. Trailer battery dead. Fridge not working. Found the 30 amp mega-fuse blown to the trailer charging relay and a bad connection at the battery for the trailer. By-passed the fuse and repaired connection. Let truck run for about 45 minutes. Don't know why fuse blown (yup, intermitent short, great!) Hopefully she'll hold charge until tomorrow morning. Oh, and my daughter left a light on inside the camper. I'm sure that didn't help the battery. Wish I didn't have 4 kids w/ me. There is a bar next door that sounds like alot of fun. I could hear it while I was fixing my rig! Still no running lights. Walmart is across the street, in case I need coolers and ice.

Avoid I65 South of Louisville - MM73 or so!

I took I71 to I65 (after US32 to Cincinnati).

I'm here, got in around 3:00 AM, my 6 hour drive turned into 10!

Anyone coming down I65, the road is necked down to 1 lane at Mile Marker 61, last night at midnight, traffic was stopped at mile marker 73! After two hours in that mess, I made my own detour. I looked for a hotel and everything was full.

I can only imagine what I65 will be like in the daytime!!!

not shure where it was on 65 we hit the traffic, if ya jump off there is a detour that runs along it for about 10 miles, then puts ya back on the other side of the construction.
it was around MM 76 we got off, and followed 31w south then followed a detour.
