Im getting the death wobble, could this be caused by worn radius arm bushings?

If not the primary cause, they sure won't help it any.

If your truck has never had them replaced, the brackets will be riveted to the frame.

Instead of pulling axles, springs, etc., I torched out the rivets.

Once these rivets are gone, radius-arm bushing replacement becomes a thirty-minute job, instead of an all day's doings with dinner on the ground.

Ream the rivet holes and replace the rivets with properly sized Grade 8 bolts, 3/8 I think, or maybe 7/16, can't remember.

Use the next size smaller flat-washers on each side of the bolt, and a lock-washer.

The rivets on my truck were torched away many many hundreds of thousands of miles ago, and the radius-arm bushings have been replaced numerous times; I have never had any issues with the rivets being gone.

The more likely cause of a death woble is axle pivot busings[twin I beam bushings].

I didn't see which model truck you have.

My truck has KING-PINs.

ROCK AUTO also has real good prices on genuine Spicer.

A tip to get the rivets out. Take a cut-off tool and grind a cross into the head of the rivet down to the bracket. Then use a chisel to knock the remains off. I used to torch them off but found it was faster to do it this way.
