Hi,
I am new here thanks to IDIot sending me here from youtube. I have a 1994 idi turbo. I had to get to tensioner pulley so I unbolted AC compressor and unplugged front and back connections. When I got all that back together, I couldn't get back plug to go on right. So I ended up breaking a red plastic blade part that was in the middle. Then it fell and I lost it. Short on time I plugged it anyway. The AC works but what is the red part called? Do i need it??

Thanks

It keeps the pins in the plug. Lol
Every time I unplug mine, it pulls out and stays in the sensor.

I wouldn't sweat it a whole lot, but if your compressor quits, you will know what to look at first! I would leave it myself, unless the wires start coming unhooked a lot.

Thanks cpdenton, that may be what I do. Unless dealer has individual part or I find a used one.

Yup, leave it alone unless it acts up.
Just pocket one from the junkyard. Lol
