I need to replace the power steering pump on my 92 7.3. On NAPA there are two pumps. The only difference between them are the threads. One says metric and the other says standard. What threads are they referring to, and which do I need?

by mid 70s to early 80s ford started playing around with metric hard wear my 1984 had metric hard wear holding the powersteering pump on before i swaped the motor so im going to throw out guess that its metric easy way to check is pull one of the bolts and go to the local hard wear store and check it on a thread gauge......

Honestly I wondered for mine but never bothered replacing it. Your best bet would be get a new pressure hose too and make sure they mate up before leaving. If not, get the other one. That way you know you'll have a working combination.

I'd wager you probably want metric, but don't count on my word for that.
