Hello All,Thinking about buying some used rim's, want to make sure they will fit my truck without trying them on. They came off a 1989 f-250 ford, want to put on a 1992 f-250 ford, they are 8 lug, will they fit mine? Also tese rim's are 8 inch wide and i want to mount lt 265-75 r16 tire's onto them. Will this work? These are aluminan rim's with 8 style, no centercap's Can i buy some center cap's for these? Not sure brand of wheel but they look like alcoa ( is that right? ) brand wheel's. I havent seen them yet and i had the fellow look for a brand stamped on the back of the wheel, he could not find a name of who made them. He did find 3100lbs. stamped on the back. Any idea's?

The rims will fit from 1980 to 1997 without an issue at all. I have run 265 75 16's on my factory wheels with no problems at all....lots of people do it. The 265's are the EXACT same height, just a little wider than the factory 235's.

Those are the factory Alcoa wheels, but I am not sure if they had a cover....someone who knows could chirp in here!

They will work fine with that tire combo, no need for 10" wide rims.
You can buy center caps, both for the front and back with no trouble.

Ask the Guy if He's got the whole WHEEL. Rims are hard to mount, without a hub to bolt them to Your truck.

Any OEM Ford 8 lug WHEEL will interchange up to '03.

in 99+ ford switched to metric 8 on 170mm bolt pattern which will not fit our trucks. i have heard people say van rims stayed 8 on 6.5 but have found nothing to prove it.

The Van Rims won't fit either. I'm telling You Guy's, You gotta have the whole WHEEL. They are very hard to get to stay on without the Hub.

Van WHEELS are 8X6.5"

Next thing You know, You'll be asking about gas mileage!

A "wheel" is the metal part, rim and hub, the "rim" is pretty much the "O" part that the tire goes on, like a fire ring for campfires

f-two-fiddy's being picky LOL

265/75/16 are NOT the EXACT same height as 235/75/16s just a fact

265/75/16 are 31.6 diameter
235/75/16 are 29.9
