Oil Filter - FL784 or FL1995?

icanfixall - yeah, you definitely don't want to fill her to the top before putting it on...! I can only imagine the words used to describe the spill. Makes it that much easier to tighten with the sides coated with fresh oil.

It is worth adding oil to it before installing though, just to get the pressure back that much quicker when you first start it.

I have to push it against the lines a little to get it started, but once it's screwed in, the FL 1995 clears with no problem. - - 91 F-350 4x4.. I really like it..

You can also get an amsoil bypass oil filter or make your own.

Can you direct me to the directions to make one?
