Random question from the new guy... does the rally move around or is it always in the same general location/state? Id be interested in going but since I dont get paid days off and its race seasson Michigan is way to far away.

They bounce around from place to place depending on who wants to volunteer to host one. If you can't make it this year, next year maybe a closer one or farther just depends.

Ok folks, getting down to the wire.
We're gonna be heading to the campground Friday to meet up with all parties involved to meet the names with the faces and what nopt. We're also running the routes to get the times figured for the convoy sessions to the Henry Ford and Pure Tunings dyno shop.

Spoke with fire chief Jim Frayer and he's excited about the raffle and will have a truck and members there for the judging.

Now raffle ticket prices are going to be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.
Darrin will be in charge of raffle ticket sales so those who are attending see him for tickets as he will be selling them up to the time of the awards ceremony on Wednesday the 4th.

The complete Dynomax exhaust system will be awrded to the winner who is in attendance so lets not be stingy folks, this is a sweet exhaust system and is going to a noble cause.;Sweet

Also since we have such a large fleet of truck attending and after speaking with the powers to be, we are going to try something different this year and have an entrance fee for the show and shine to help offset some of the costs.

For each truck entered there will be a $20.00 entry fee and I will have the registration forms available for those wishing to enter the event and what categories you would like to have your truck judged in.

Even tho there are more trucks than classes, all entrants will be given a dash plaque for this years event.

For those wanting a second dash plaque, there may be a few left over at the rally pending on total registrants.

I also need to have a rough idea for those wishing to attend the Rouge truck plant as they are wanting a 2 week notice for large groups attending as we have to be bussed over from the Henry Ford as no visitors vehicles are allowed on the grounds.

Also for those that haven't sent their contact info pm'ed to me yet please do as if you are a first time attendee or your info has changed from last years rally.
this will be how I can keep track of you guys in case if something were to arise.

Stay tuned and get your PRTJ's on baabeeeee!

Ron, count me in for the plant tours and dyno. Missy and Heidi will likely stay at the campground. Add me to the SNS as well.

Will certainly put in on the raffle and will annoy Darrin at the rally for tickets.

I'm pretty sure you have my contact info. LOL

Can't wait, but my PreRally Truck Jitters are in full swing. Little time away from work and an intercooler project to finish, break-in on a fresh rebuild, and the thought of using the trip up to Michigan as my break-in/truck shakedown are peaking my blood pressure.

Well Ron you know this is my vacation, so I'm fully subscribed to whatever you come up with. Should be 4 trucks and 5 people.... yeah... Matthias is bringing his girlfriend this year. Wow... did I just say that? LOL

Gonna see if Missy with make her special baked beans for the potluck.

I've got my Grab Bag gift ready as well.

My truck............ well............... it isn't ready, but I was able to get some serious work done on the intercooler project last night. If work leaves me alone this weekend, I may be getting close to driving it by Sunday night.

Yeah.....First ones here! LOL
Ok so I just getting things finalized but reality is setting in. It's hard to believe we're down to the final month.
Time to get those projects finished to avoid the PRTJ's.

Mater gave me his thoughts last night with the typical 1/4 tank outta fuel syndrome without warning. Heck he's prolly just mad he's gotta stay home.
Goldie got her fist workout with new tires and the intercooler and did ok.
Exhaust temps dropped about 100 degrees but water temps were up by 20 degrees pulling the fiver. :(
But that intercooler is working great at cooling the charge air down. Burnt my hand on the hot air pipe and the cooled charge air pipe was nice and cool. :D

I'm jealous man. You got your intercooler done before I did............... You're camping rather than working on the haul rig............ and, your'e getting a preview of the Rally this weekend.

You'll get it done doc. I was beginning to think you were gonna beat me done.:D
No worries tho, I'm just making sure things are in place so you guys have a great week. I still gotta repaint Goldie yet and install the airbags but the PRTJ's for me shouldn't be an issue this year and have one less weekend that you guys do.....
