a chip is the better way to go.ill recomend tony wildman programs.but the 99-03s respond much better to programmers and pcm reflashes.

Now i have heard differently. Everyone I talked to said get a chip since they are more customizable. Im stuck between TW's chip or DP's chip. I've heard more people say go for the DP chip.

I think I was wrong about the gears unless the speedo is wrong.

LT235/85/16 @55mph turning 1900ish rpm with e4od (.71 od) I came up with 4.56

94-97 loves a chip.99-03 like programmers or pcm flash.but you need a custom tuner.i think dp tuner haS them

some quick calculations show that maybe if it has 4.10 then the speedometer is 10% off. Now I am going to have to put my GPS in it

easier way, look inside the driver door at the axle code. see what the number is and google it or ask here.

look at the tag in the door jamb and see what size tires its supposed to have on it.mine is supposed to have 215/85/16.but it looked stupid with that size tire on it so i went with the good old 235s and had to recalibrate my speedo

yeah me too.

those lights on the grill are fracking bright. brighter than high beams. I had to take my daughter to the ER last night (she's alright, had an infected ear lobe and my wife panics) so I was playing with the lights.

originally had 215/85/16. axle code is 45.

the difference from 215/85/16 and 235/85/16 is 5%......... I am just going to use my GPS
