New to this forum and ready to learn from other members' experiences. I'm currently running "Ruby" a '95 F350 CC DRW 7.3 ZF5 4X2, and snowed in on the mountain here in Arkansas again. Did I mention AGAIN? I GOTTA HAVE A DIESEL 4X4!!!! At any rate, I have a 91 F250 SC IDI ZF5 4X2 I've owned for over 5 years with only 180k miles that California won't replace the title to unless I go back. So..... I've found and dealt for a 91 F250 SC 460 ZF5 4X4 for a transplant project that will be mine after the snow and ice is gone.
I know the swap isn't that big of an issue basically, but any guidance will be greatly appreciated! Short term plans after the swap will be a suspension lift for ground and tire clearance and generally dolling her up. Long term I'd like to install a turbo and a few performance mods. All thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
