I have the round Holly Retrobrights on the Mercedes, and they're a noticeable step up from the stock sealed beams. I have Morimoto LED projector retrofits on the ambulance, and they are a much bigger step up. I don't really feel the need for moose lights on the ambulance now.

No one made them for the van so had to build them myself, but installed the mini HID projectors in the clear headlight housing. Look real similar to that baja retrofit deal.

Vantage Optics makes the projector retrofits for the Econolines. I went that route instead of diy, it was worth the moderate extra cost.

Oh snap... I was slightly jealous of those headlights, but knew the instant I read the write up that I'm far too impatient to do an install like that myself, was resigned to settle for some as yet undiscovered kit offering.
Will a simple drain hole cure it?
The LED's should still be working.

Hi in the Cascades, Nearly- Redmond,Oregon
When I (years & years ago) was semi truck driving I had airplane landing lites rigged up top on my headache rack & 2 on each side on their own separate switch. Had my regular work lites for night time loading & unloading mounted up there too on separate switch.

When at night & some stupid little car or regular truck crept up behind me hiding out, letting me drag them down the road & them getting better gas milage sucking along in my big backdraft, or letting me run along lots faster than speed limit & them hiding out from Smoky Bear close behind me,......mostly just crowding me,.......after I'd slow down a bit & that not work, change lanes & that not work,...throw BB's out window to chip their windshield & lites & that not work, ......THEN I'd flip landing lites on & fill the road behind me with LOTS of bright lite!!~!
Cars backed off, other cars started running all over the road dodging each other.......

My point.......I'm going to find me about 6-8 of those landing lites & mount then across front of my '90 BESSIE and be able to see EVERYTHING in front of me, including all those cars coming at me & then running off road!!!!

REALLY AM!!!! LOL LOL LOL

Hey TTMAN aren`t those Landing Lights 24 Volts?
I have been thinking the new vehicles have them installed
from the factory they are so bright.

Dang, $750 For a set of Head Lights, that`s half the cost of most
of the trucks we drive... ;Poke
And they most likely made in China...

My sealed beams one is looking for the Owl`s and the other one
is looking for Road Kill along the Shoulder.
As long as I keep the Wicks trimmed they work ok...

I have a set of the Perlux`s, any one remember them? use to
see them a lot on the Semi`s back in the 80`s or so.
