Saw a good lookin '87 crew cab 4x4 up on 35's this weekend out at the campground. Chatted with him for a bit, but didn't get a pic. The front needed to be repainted (nearly all new) as he hit a telephone pole a while ago. 6.9 with a banks and a 4spd.

Well my truck is by no means as nice as any of the other trucks posted in this forum, and it still needs a LOT of cosmetic work to get it where I want it, but it's a rock solid awesome daily driver. It's got more rust than most here, and uglier than sin, but that's all about to change this summer. In the process of buying a factory turbo, then a moose/baby moose pump, mister injectors and already has the soup bowl mod and cai. This summer it will see a 4" lift with 33" or 35"s, both new fenders and a new bed, a lot of bondo after I remove the rust on the cab as best I can. After I get the body squared away, I think I want to either go with a complete IH red paint cheme, the body all red and chrome, then IH red valve covers and other accessories. OR a full flat black job to match my Grand Cherokee, or maybe a flat military camo scheme? Still undecided on paint, but leaning toward the IH red right now.

Here's the Old Rusty Red Beast:

But no matter how ugly, I still love it, even if it does take an hour plugged in to start it in the morning now with my dead GPs, hahah, and guys there are some AMAZING trucks in here, I just drooled through these 15 pages. Absolutely awesome, gives me something to work towards!

(Sorry these pics are old from when I got it in Feb. '11, no longer has visor or bug guard, and replaced stereo, soon going to remove running boards too) BTW, bug guard and visor are for sale!

Snapon, I saw yours and I fell in love hahaha I wish I keep just restore mine to that same exact scheme I would never change it but I have no way to maintain those colors when I repaint it unfortunately. And finding matching parts is next to impossible!

Redid the truck. Fixed teh cab rust, new bedsides, and fenders. Kind wild being in the bodyshop business, to actually be taking off factory sheetmetal on a truck that is close to 20 yrs old.

And after. Maintained the factory wild strawberry red. added silver with pin stripping and a lil extra on the hood. and smooth tailgate.
