let the upgrades begin

well after a year of gathering parts have finily started to do the following upgrades. elec vac pump, a/c mod, hydroboost, power captains seats, cooleant filter, rebuild oil cooler, new water pump,move elec lift pump and filter housing.

Im interested in the seats your doing. My front seat is desperately needing replacement. Pass side is jammed all the way back and the previous owner had to of weighed a few hundred more than I.

got hydrobost plumbed today new housing on power sterring pump.fuel pump block plate on.new temp guage wired in.

I always wanted to try going with an electric Vac pump, the ones for SDs aren't all that expensive when compared to others. But I should probably just get the truck running better first. ;-)

Fellas, look at turbocharged german cars. Most Vulvas (volvos) come turbocharged with a vac pump. They usuallu wind up in the yard of junk due to expensive repais.

what do you do with the factory vac pump, I mean how do you eliminate it.i thought about doing that my self but haven't thought of a good way to remove the mechanical vac pump.

3 bolts and it's gone plus need shorter belt.and here is the part # for the belt i'm using.goodyear 4061080 under 11.00 on rockauto.
