I guess I'll have to make something. Just went to the international dealer and the guy looked at me like I was crazy when I said I had a ford with an international motor. And he couldn't look it up without an engine serioul number. Rather make something than try and explain myself to that guy.

Tell them it's from a international the same year as you truck with the idi. That's what I do when I had my psd and for my idis and 466. They never have a problem finding parts and when they do they usually have a phone number to someone that could get what I need.

Well I just got back from my first test drive with it in and holy cow! It definitely pulls harder through the gears. And I wasn't expecting much power gains because its not turbo'd yet. The truck definitely spots if you get into it but its controllable so It's not too much. And the most surprising thing of all is that I had my foot in it up a strap grade in 4th to check my egt's and it was smoking quite a bit but I never broke 1100 on a hill my old stock pump would hit 1250 if I wasn't carefull. And tomorrow ill find out how my mpg's are. I think they will still be decent if I don't get carried away with the throttle haha

I didn't get the truck timed with a meter but I did it as best I could and it seems to run perfect. Much better than my old pump. It idles smoother and even quiter than before and starts much quicker. I couldn't be happier with it. I called all the shops in my area and no shops can time it. Half of them try to tell me it's impossible to change the timing.

That's a shame. Well, if you are happy and your EGT's are good, then just try to make it to an IDI Weekend some day, so we can make sure it's the best it can be.
