Well most of the way. I got home today and there was my new moose junior ip and naturally I couldn't wait to put it in. So I got it all in and the last thing I need to hook up is the return line to the top of the ip. Only problem is I accidentally broke the 90 degree connector while taking the old pump out. Anybody know where I can get one? The auto parts store says they have never seen anything like it.

You should be able to get it at an IH dealer...that's almost definitely the only place you'll find it these days; I don't think even Ford carries it anymore...

Not that I know of, other than to not use too much force. They are made of either brass or bronze (can't remember which), so you can't torque them too much without risking a break. IIRC the 7.3l ditched the elbow in favor of a hose nipple; you could go for that and eliminate the steel line going to the back of the engine (although you'll need another hose nipple on the other end also). Hitting the threads with penetrating oil before trying to loosen it might help...

lowes or hd might have it or something comprable its just a brass fitting.
I guess I'll have to make something. Just went to the international dealer and the guy looked at me like I was crazy when I said I had a ford with an international motor. And he couldn't look it up without an engine serioul number. Rather make something than try and explain myself to that guy.
Just checked brass fitting to see if I could put a few together to make something. But the return line side has some special thread on it and nothing maches up. All I know is its close to 3/8 npt but not close enough

if you are talking about the 90 degree fitting leaving the injection pump i just made mine out of npt fittings from the hardware store

Not to worry. This is a simple low pressure gravity return sysytem. Just find any fitting that will thread into the top of the pump. Make sure that check valve is working in the injection pump top cover. Thats the fitting that has the o-ring under it. The part you broke is nothing special. Most any unjection pump repair shop will have something that will work. I'm thinking you have the steel line that runs from the top of the pump. If so you can cut it and use some 3/8 hose and clamps from the pump to the return line. Like said. It no pressure. Just a gravity return to the tanks..
