Congratulations on the accomplishment. I'm a little bit ahead of u(I'm at 415k and climbing daily). I remember where I was at when it happened.

Thanks. Yes, I pulled over and took a picture, lol. Its not like the odometer rolls over to zero every other day. I am upset that I have a company truck now and no longer use my truck to commute to work. I am thinking about buying a canvas portable garage type thing to keep it out of the sun and rain when I'm not using it at this point.

I often wonder if I will ever see my odometer roll over at 100k. The PO of my truck was an older gentleman who used it to go on a trips pulling a 5th wheel. I think he went across the country once. When I got the truck it only had 64k original (verifiable) miles on it. As of right now, 3.5 years later it only has 76k on it. I wonder if it will ever get to 100k. It might by a 35-40 year old truck by then. LOL

Many people have commuter cars and only use their trucks when they need a truck. My truck was my only vehicle until I got a company truck so I put quite a few miles on it. It sat a lot and I still managed to put almost 70,000 miles on it in 6 years.

Yeah, makes sense. I basically have to force myself to drive it or it does't get driven. I did use it as a commuter for awhile when it was my only vehicle, but those days are long gone.

I drive my mystery machine every day. At least 55 miles a day.

How many miles on the promar reman? Is that the second motor the truck ever had? Congrats on catching a photo of the odo. Neither of my odo's have worked in many years so I have no way of documenting my trucks mileage accomplishments.

I don't drive mine often at school, except for the 400 miles trips back and forth home, but when I'm home, I do a LOT on it (daily driver).

PO said that it was at 176k when we bought it, but for all we know it could be 76k, or even 276k (Judging by how the tranny feels I'm guessing 176k is the right number). Mine is only 3k from rolling over now! Too bad the speedo gears weren't working for like a year so I'm sure that it's already past the 200k mark. I'm itching to take the rollover pic of mine :sly

I put almost 1000 miles on my truck last year. It's at 176k and at this rate will never see 200.
