What are other similar trucks going for locally?

Admitedly, my rigs aren't the prettiest, but I've picked up two OBS turbo idi extended cab 4x4 trucks here for <$2k.
I'd see a pristine one as being worth 3k, 3500 maybe if it's really nice. Remember, it's still 25 years old and you will have to put work into it - seals, injectors and such - within 20K. Just because old rubber is still old rubber.
Not that that's a deterrent to me, but 6k is a lot of money to me.

Around here that price is a bit high, but if the truck has been well maintained and has a lot of new parts it’s not that far off. I’d say 5k is a fair price but I’d try to get it for less to be a good deal

I concurr and that would mean at 170 K its time for a fuel system refresh w replacement IP and injectors.

Injectors and injection pump should be changed at the same time, I would pull the glowplugs and if they aren’t motorcraft I would immediately replace them

Was just thinking you'll need your truck timed after new pump and injectors and if you were close enough I could help you out.
