IP priming questions

Here in so cali the fuel prices are at the highest in 6 years. Promises to be a expensive vacation years for most.

Diesel is about $4/gallon here , slightly under the price of regular. Propane is like $2.50/gallon

Ok , I decided on a Cummins swap. From what I've read the 4l80e can handle a stock cummins fine , and that's what I would be running. I can't justify pulling my trans , it has less than 1 mile on it. I just have to figure out how I'm going to make it work..

I have no clue where I should be posting this at this point haha.

If anyone has done this before I sure would appreciate any tips you may have.
