that would be my first go around. i stopped coming by, because after I bought the new truck bed the truck sat in the garage where the body work was being performed and a new gf, kid troubles, etc prevented my brother from putting any more time into it. hard to believe it was 3 years ago I found the red ***** and started in on her.
Some updates.... we were able to save the cab mounts, and those are all fixed.... i can't quite remember what is still wrong with her....
dash still wobbles like a 18 year old on spring break.
driver-side window is at a 45 degree angle within the window frame....
brother welding the quarter panels melted through my mint condition interior. for shame.
still cranks up on the first turn.
turbo kit I bought on what I thought was good counsel ended up having studs snapped off. I do believe that revelation made me not want to come here anymore. also was missing parts.
spare bed got scrapped because brother was tired of looking at it.
toe-in issue still needs handling
can't remember if radiator was fixed.
oil leak is still ???
going to start working on it again as wife and I split, and I need wheels. Getting my 24 mpg diesel truck back also would be nice.
