I think everybody on the PSD section died!

I am lookin for some answers, but nobody knows over there so maybe you guys can help. I have a '95 PSD that I want to put a boost gauge on. I have read that its best to 'T' into the 'MAP' sensor. Is this right and where is this map sensor? How many PSI should I see from a bone stock engine like this?

Also, will a 1 piece flywheel and Luk clutch kit be the same for a PSD and an IDI?

HAHA...I hope these 'seasoned' guys hang around here too...otherwise we are doomed! I just noticed I have a pretty good fuel leak on my PSD. It is about a 1/2" hose that comes from the mech. lift pump to under the fuel filter housing. I assume I will have to take the fuel filter housing off to replace this? Approx how long is this hose and what would the ID measurements be?

I really wish I could help answering these questions but I have never been under the hood working on a psd... Last nite or maybe this morning I was online here from 130 to about 430 am... Some of us old farts can't sleep sometimes. So for me I hang out here trying to fall asleep....

MAP sensor is on the right side of the firewall. Just above the heater box. Follow the hose.

Im still around.

Stock 95 psd will see a max of around 16 psi boost. "t" the map sensor hose.the hose comes of the passengers side intake up to the firewall.

The fuel line youll need for the fuel leak I believe is 5/16,.make sure you get line that is rated for diesel.the filter housing has to come off.check the banjo bolt under the turbo where the steel lines bolt to the pump.its known to loosen up and leak.

Daaang! If I had an ol lady like that I'd be goin to bed early too!! OK I replaced the stuby 3/8 x 3" hose running from the mech pump to the bottom of the filter housing but now it looks like its leaking the same or maybe worse. It looked like it was leaking there as I thought I could see it dripping but obviously thats not it...what are these banjo bolts and are they easily accessible? Any other ideas at all??

You aught to just close this thread and go back to the PSD forum. Put your truck in your sig, so we don't have to keep referring to the first post to know/remember what truck it is.

The banjo bolt is the one you attached the new hose to, it has an O'ring that may be leaking. Another source of leak is the drain valve on the filter that has two O'rings, they harden and leak. Takes a #10 torx for the screws.
