Tonight I was sick and tired of having a leaky wheel seal and oil soaked rear brakes, so I went and swapped rearends.

My truck was just an F250 with a SRW rearend, but I swapped in a DRW F350 rearend. I am running single wheels on it, and it don't look too bad.

The braking power is UNREAL with those 3 1/2" shoes and drums back there. I installed all new lines, all new wheel cylinders and some other odds and ends.

I have enough dually wheels to make the truck a true dually, but being that it is winter I am going to keep it a SRW.

Also, the rearend is 4.10 geared, and the front end is 3.55 geared. I am going to run the 4.10's for a tank or two to see what kind of mileage I get, and decide what to do from there.

Pics to come tomorrow when I am not too greasy to handle the camera, and I have enough light to take pics.

Congrats! I like my 4.10s. they could pull a house down. Make sure you put a bag or something over the gear shift so you dont forget and burn up the transfer case.

Not a bad idea, but that shouldn't be a problem. I still haven't shortened up my front shaft to work with my ZF swap, so I am shaftless.

I am now on the hunt for a set of 4.10's for a front D60....depending on how much I like the rear set.

Does anyone sell a set of quality hub centric wheel spacers for a front d60? I am looking for 1 - 1.5"

I have a set of 4.10 I bought from a member on here and didn't use. I may also have another set of front dually adapters that will be available.

I may be picking up another D60 dually front axle. I get 200 plus freight for factory for ones
