I have a 7.3idit that I have torn down and am gonna hone. I found once it was torn down it was bored .30 over. This means that I don’t think I can use a standard 4 1/8 dingleball hone. What size should I use. Also I was planning on using a 320 grit, wondering if that is the right grit to use

Do NOT use 320 grit. Way too fine. I used 240 for mine and that still wasn't coarse enough. The manual recommends 120 grit, if I recall correctly.

As for size, I think Brush Research has the largest selection. Might be worth giving them a call to see what they recommend.

If you decide to use 240, I'll sell you mine cheap (used for one cylinder), but it was for a standard bore engine. Don't recall the size off the top of my head but I can check in a few days.

Okay what I have seen is people using the 4 1/8 for standard which is 4.25 but mine is bored to 4.14 now. I think I will need bigger that standard but not sure. Let me know when you find the size
