Don't you think it's the other way around, that your batts took your alternator? That's what usually happen's.

I've got Duralast batteries in all 3 of my trucks plus a Class 3 motor home with a 460 in it and they are 5 yrs. old in the MH. Crank crank crank to start the MH after setting for 2-3 months. Wouldn't use any other brand.

That 92 in my avatar set for 7 months and just started it yesterday, no problem, 4 20 second cranks and fired right up.

Don't you think it's the other way around, that your batts took your alternator? That's what usually happen's.

Bad bearing combined with bad regulator, and so on. the last pair were only a couple months old. Bad alt. New alt and batts worked together beatifully
