I went and looked at this tonight. It was a long drive there but luckily for me my wife drove her car and I got to ride.

I originally walked away from this truck, But got to thinking about it so texted the guy gave him a offer he called me back and said when do you want me to haul it up to you? ;Sweet

I may go rent a trailer and go get it myself after work, Funny about people knowing where I live that I don't know..

This is going to be my son Logan's truck. He will be most likely joining the forum for educational reasons since it has a 6.9 I'll have questions as well.

Once I get the deal sealed I'll let you in on what I paid for it. (It's a project truck)

Thats a nice first truck for a young man too. As for him joining the forum please do. Most here will think he is another family member at the table of knowledge.

Well looks like it's not going to happen. Guy called me and said he figured out why it will not start. When it turns over it's lifting the head off the block. So he advise for me not to buy this for his first truck since he not sure if the tranny is any good. I'm still thinking on it.. said he would sell it to me for cost of scrap but still need to have it towed 50 mile to me house. tow bill will be $150-200.00

Heck, it's worth it just for the front axle. Can't go wrong!!!
I think that's a Dana 50...it's an F-350, but it's an '85, which was the crossover year (early '85's had Dana 50's, late '85's had Dana 60's), and she's sitting low enough to make me think it's a Dana 50. FWIW...

Well the red truck didn't work out as planned. Tomorrow heading out in the AM for a 2.5 hr drive one way to look at a 84 F250 6.9 idi This one runs and drives. It need a little work. (door panels are missing, rear tank leaks, hole in the floor board on driver side.) IF this one is bought I'll get pictures and post them some point in time tomorrow.

Why are they so cheap over there? Damn! -cuss
It sucks to live in germany if you like US/CA cars/trucks.

You can't get any of these over here for under 5000€ ;Pissed

Here it is!

Here is my sons 84 F250 4x4 6.9 Idi. We drove 2.5 hr to pick up. We drove it home and then out to the in-laws to show them. He spent 3-4 hrs cleaning the cab and bed out (had some straw in the bed) It has a stack which is very loud and annoying to listen to for almost 3 hrs. He doesn't like the stack so that the first thing he's taking off. The floor is shot! So either going to order new pans or take the white trucks cab and put on his frame. But first need to get carpet up to see how the part truck floor is. I shared 2 pictures 1 he's cleaning the windows and the other is when we finally got home he was stealing the emblem off the parts truck for his.
