Man, I admit the grease would be good for the hardware! I plan on keeping this thing and always keeping it clean and serviced though. Hoping it always stays this clean. I really only pull a camper once or twice a year with itLiking that electroplating process. Usually I just send a tap over all the rusty bolts and assemble with grease to prevent it from rusting solid at the first sign of winter.
This is Concours level detailing.
That just won't do. The way you've been going on this truck, it's kind of like having a priceless jewel that you take out of the safe once or twice a year so you can dust it off and put it back in the safe!I really only pull a camper once or twice a year with it
Yea man, it's crazy but, I've got a company truck with free fuel lol. That just won't do. The way you've been going on this truck, it's kind of like having a priceless jewel that you take out of the safe once or twice a year so you can dust it off and put it back in the safe!
Well that's completely different. I can see it now: only driven by a little old man on the fifth Sunday of the month! In another 40 years or so when it goes up for sale.Yea man, it's crazy but, I've got a company truck with free fuel lol.
I'm hoping so lol. Not really when we take long trips, we take the truck (when it's together) we love that truck, my wife drives an Infiniti qx56 and we take the old Ford over it every time if possible! When I'm not working 90 hours a week I'll get it done and drive it every chance I getWell that's completely different. I will admit that it's been a LONG time since I've driven a newer truck, but to me, these IDI powered trucks feel more solid when driving. Maybe it's the weight over the front tires. I'd much rather drive my 1985 F250 Ex cab with a 7.3 over my 1981 F150 Reg cab with a 302 on longer trips. It doesn't matter how much more that diesel costs per gallon than gas. The F150 gets about 1.5 MPG better, but that doesn't matter to me either.my wife drives an Infiniti qx56 and we take the old Ford over it every time if possible!
