FINALY GOT IT

its an 86 f250, 4x4, has a gooseneck plate, pretty sure its home made, 4 speed. i had to get it today cause when i got there it was already loaded on a trailer waiting to go to the scrap yard, he was tired of looking at it, so i got it at scrap price, put 2 new batteries in it (didnt have time to get a charger, and was afraid that i would buy the charger then still need new batteries), 2 gallons of fuel, and a couple shots of ether. and she sprung to life on the second attempt.

anybody have any info on the ae 30, never seen one other than this one. and does anyone have any info they can give me on the truck from the pictures?

Idk about the ae 30 thing but Im sure it wont be hard to find info. My bed had the same dent up by the cab. I have a turn down gooseneck ball never used it but its there.

almost got her road worthy, brakes are a little spoungy, the reservoir was empty so hopefully i will just have to bleed them and that will be all.

got the toolbox in it thursday, got new speakers for it cause they where missing, and got a new radio cause it doesnt work, and if it did its only am radio. but havent gotten tham installed yet, waiting for a little warmer weather. also ordered new glowplugs, drivers side mirror, and will be getting the air issue fixed this tomorrow hopefully

got the radio and speakers in. got the return line kit from pensicola diesel, ordered some cab lights, and a new passenger side marker housing, and a plug and play heavy duty headlight wiring harness from lmc truck that should be here tuesday. getting some silvania silverstars for it, and hopefully getting all that done sometime next week.

Why do you still own a diesel then? Also, gas AND diesel are on the rise and getting more expensive by the day.

With the ability to run waste motor oil in warmer months, it lowers the cost somewhat of operating it. IDIs have alternative fuel capabilities, that little Civic, not so much.

that little civic gets 35 miles to the gallon if it isn't all souped up. Finding oil is kinda hard these days cuz its all being bought up by bigger companies

ive gotten up to 43 with the honda on interstate, keeping it for the longer trips where i dont need the truck, and ive also got a little honda bike that gets about 80. and all of my driving is within about 20 miles. but hondas cant haul a lot of **** so thats why i got the truck.
