Exhaust Temperature

What should the exhaust temperature be at idle? (83 6.9 non turbo)

My NA 7.3 egt is 220-280 at idle. Warmer if I was just running it hard and lower on startup. If left to idle for any length of time it settles in that range.

Yup, it will settle to about 250* for me at idle. Takes a while to get down that low after a hard pull though, and it takes a good 15 seconds or more to get up to that during cold start.
