electric pump with mechanical pump?

quick question everyone on my 87 ford. i put a holley electric pump in my truck, but am also runnin the stock lift pump. should i just run the the electric pump and delete the mechanical pump? thanks

You should delete the Mechanical LP, if you don't, you're asking for a ruptured diaphram, and diesel in your crankcase.

Yes delete the mechanical pump before you blow the diaphragm out of the other one and fill the crankcase full of fuel.
