electric fuel pump question

i know a lot of people are using the holley red. well how well does that pump hold up to wmo? i am going to be using a 50/50 mix give or take and just wondered how good that pump will last. i will be using my trk for hauling in and out of state.

Mine's 3 years old, running a heave WMO mix in warmer weather. No problems. My tank pickup clogged up and I had to pull it and clean it. But the pump didn't care.

Personally I would not spend the money on a HR, they can fail in the worst way if the little plastic seal gives up (You can't replace this seal) and fuel enters freely inside the pump motor and catch on fire.
Mine lasted many years before this happened and I've used wmo, wvo for a long time. Other than the possibility of a fire the pumps are great and if the guys a holley where willing to fix this minor problem I would have the same pump right now.

they are good for a heavier mix but if you are thinking any where near 100 WMO my holley blue could not cut it.

I love the Holley Red and will never use a the stock mechanical pump again. Just today......my #7 injector cap started leaking and made the truck a real PITA to start secondary to air intrusion. The next time I went to start the truck, I flipped the oil pressure safety switch bypass toggle. I let the Holley Red run for about 5 seconds and it bleeds all the air out of the system and the truck starts and runs like normal. No more cranking and cranking.

I'd be more concerned about a fire with gasoline, but with diesel and especially with waste oil (motor or veg) the chance that the 12 volts and 7 amps of the Holley Red would be enough to actually start it burning is pretty low.
